the community
ZERO partnerships with Knights of Columbus,UM Social work, children's groups
Parish need
ZERO Excellent since the building isstructurally sound and is PAID FOR.
opportunities we have existing facilities which for obeying Jesus, "What you do to
already more than fills our needs the least of these you do to Me.". We
could rent out the whole building if we
wanted, and use property managers
and use the money for Parish projects,
like helping the poor and children.
Worst case, we can rent it to secular group,
like UM school of Social Work to help the
poor and disadvantaged.
adherence to ZERO Excellent oppurtunity to
the Gospels spread the Gospels and
HELP THE CHILDREN and POOR.
"WHAT YOU DO TO THE LEAST OF THESE YOU DO TO ME."
25:24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art
an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strewed:
25:25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
25:26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that
I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strewed: 25:27 Thou oughtest therefore to
have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine
own with usury. 25:28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.
This would be like boarding up the buildings and waiting for a good plan to come along.
Tearing down the building(s) to rebuild a building that is a fraction of
what we already have is beneath the man who buried his 1 talent.
It is like throwing it away and then asking for a new smaller one.
What would Jesus do?
Do you take the Gospels seriously and try to live them?
