Many Called Few are Chosen
It is not to late to change the path you are on but do not delay.
Matthew;
20:16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.
and here is a parable that gives a vivid picture of what Jesus means;
22:1 And Jesus answered and spoke unto them again by parables, and said,
22:2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,
22:3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.
22:4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared
my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.
22:5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:
22:6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.
22:7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed
those murderers, and burned up their city.
22:8 Then he said to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.
22:9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.
22:10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found,
both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.
22:11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:
22:12 And he said unto him, Friend, how came thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
22:13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast
him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
22:14
For many are called, but few are chosen.
You can always change and return to the Lord until the door is closed, just like in the days of Noah
they were ignoring God until the rains came and the door closed, and then it was to late. A young woman
who was called in her youth wrote about the torch and scroll. But later on the world enticed her
and she left the person she was meant to be, she left Bethlehem, Jesus. Jesus complained to Sr. Lucia
of Fatima and many others about this issue and how it offends Him and saddens Him.
This is Free Will.
Here is what Jesus told St. Faustina about lukewarm souls [1228];
Today bring to Me souls who have become lukewarm, and immerse them in the abyss of My mercy.
These souls wounded My Heart most painfully. My soul suffered the most dreadful loathing in the
Garden of Olives because of lukewarm souls. They were the reason I cried out: "Father, take
this cup away from Me, if it be Your will." For them the last hope of salvation is to flee to my mercy.
This is going on today as our Lord calls many but they choose to go their own way. As we wait for the
Warning, foretold at Garabandal, Spain and many other places. For with the death of John
Paul II the "end of our time" has arrived.
2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your
daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
2:29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
2:30 And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
2:31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the
terrible day of the LORD come.
2:32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered:
for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and
in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
